Glory Come Down

Inspired by those times you are in the midst of a "rainy season" and you pray for God's help. There is hope beyond the storms of life. God's glory is always present and in this painting I'm imagining his Glory coming down from the clouds above the storm clouds that I am focused on. There is more than what we can see. Respresentational yet painterly. A combination of both brush and palette knife techniques used to create texture and movement. Flecks of gold paint are found in and around the top two clouds to create an effect of the gold "coming down." Sides are painted white and it comes wired and ready to hang.
