This painting is about how God can bring us to a place of joy even after we expereince deep sorrow or loss. Sometimes, that joy seems to grow out of our experiences through the trial and pain as we reach out to God in a deeper, more authentic way. Inspired by a photograph I took and my other painting from that photograph, Sorrow and Joy, in which I felt God was giving me an image to create for someone else who needed this message. There is Hope after sorrow.
